12/11/2016 - College PREP - Nyack (NYC), NY Jessica is a 2019 two-way player as a SS/RHP. In the box Jessica is a RHH that uses an open stance with good balance. She has an activated load and takes a direct route to contact with a level bat path. She is a consistent line drive hitter that is able to hit to all fields. Working to be on time to contact will allow Jessica to see an increase in her power production. At SS Jessica is a sure handed player that handles the routine play. She uses efficient footwork in her approach and works hard to keep the ball from finding the 5/6 hole. She makes a quick/clean exchange and uses the proper arm slot to make accurate throws. Fielding the ball out in front will allow her to play thru the ball and gain ground to her target. On the mound Jessica is a RHP with great mound presence. She uses a 4-pitch package with a change up that keeps hitters off balance. She is able to command her pitches and works low in the zone. Continuing to develop her spins will allow her to continue to strengthen her arsenal. Overall Jessica is a versatile player with the tools needed to play at the next level.
