09/03/2021 - Softball Factory All-Region Tournament Jessika is a 2025 graduate who pitches. She has good composure on the mound and hit a top speed of 55MPh on her 2 seam. Having loose mechanics and driving towards home plate will help Jessika be more effective on the rubber. In the box, she has an on plane swing and an exit velocity of 66 MPH. Improving her location on the mound and more leg drive when swinging will help Jessika take her game to the next level. Overall, she has the ability to continue improving her skills on the field.
01/15/2021 - 2021 Softball Factory Rookie Pre-Season All-America Tournament Jessika is a lean catcher who has a promising future on the field. Behind the dish, she presents a soft/sure mitt showing great pocket awareness sticking pitches. Quick lateral movements allow her to center/deaden pitches in the dirt off of a soft chest. Pop times showed in the 1.97 with accuracy / carry (62 mph velocity) on her throws. At the plate she continues to shine through a squared setup. Hands are quick (66 mph exit velocity) and work through a level swing path. She stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will increase as she utilizes her lower half more efficiently. Mental makeup is a plus as she is very coachable, works hard to be the best player she can be, and is a team player. With 4 years to further develop, Jessika has the makings of a special type player as she continues to progress her game.
