01/29/2017 - College PREP - Phoenix, AZ Jianna is a 2020 2B with a strong skill set. She is an athletic lean player who is flexible and will only get stronger as she gets older. At the plate she has great balance and makes consistent contact that leads to line drives off the bat. She is short to the ball and has good extension. She has smooth rhythm and timing and loads with fast bat speed. Continuing to work on her bat angle on outside pitches will make her a very tough out. At 2B she is a smooth defender with soft hands and quick feet. She has a strong accurate arm and gets good momentum going to the ball. Continuing to work on staying down on all ground balls will avoid having any balls going under her glove. Overall, Jianna is a top talent and with hard work and dedication she can be very successful at the next level.
