01/12/2018 - Softball Factory Spring Training at Historic Dodgertown Jillian is a right handed pitcher and third baseman with a developing skill set. Defensively, she stays low and square in her fielding position. She is aggressive each play and makes adjustments as needed. Her throws are accurate to her target and she keeps the ball on line. While in the circle, Jillian ball has a natural curve to it. She has a good feel for spins and body positions for her different pitches. She has a confident mound presence and an open hip direction. She has smooth mechanics and correct spin on all of her pitches. She displays strong wrist action on her fastball and her change up. Offensively, Jillian has a tall and square set up in the box. She loads back well in her legs and drives through her backside. She is fluid in her rhythm and stays center in her balance. She displays gap to gap power and can spray the ball to all fields. Overall, Jillian is a hard worker and if she keeps that up she will do what it takes to get her game to the next level.
