05/29/2014 - College World Series Select Training Julia is a young third baseman with a developing skill set. Defensively, Julia has a square and out front fielding position. She receives the ball with soft hands in front of her body. She has playable range and can make hard plays at times. By working on her overall arm strength and fielding mechanics, Julia will be able become a more efficient fielder. Offensively, Julia has a tall, square setup in the box. She has a short, square stride when moving to contact. Julia consistently hits the ball square and works to drive through the contact. By incorporating the use of her lower half, Julia will increase her power numbers and consistency. Overall, Julia is a developing player that will continue to develop with training and confidence.
