01/17/2014 - 2014 Softball Factory All-America Pre-Season Tournament Kaci is a junior shortstop that was selected to play in the Pre-Season All-American game. Defensively, Kaci has an out front and on time approach. When receiving the ball, Kaci has clean hands with active footwork. She has playable range and accurate feeds to the bags. Kaci will benefit from working on her arm slot when throwing across the diamond. Offensively, Kaci uses an athletic setup with a hands back load and short stride to make a positive move to the ball. Kaci has an on time lower half with a short swing path and fluid rhythm, which leads her to make hard contact. By working on letting the ball travel to its correct contact points and going with the outside pitch, Kaci will become a more consistent opposite field hitter. Overall, Kaci is a solid player that will continue to grow and develop.
