08/16/2020 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Salem (Roanoke), VA Kailey is a solid, athletic RHP/2B who has a promising future on the diamond. At 2B, defensive abilities are solid as she displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are aggressive as she works around balls and plays through with her body. Glove action is clean but needs to present more out front. Feet are quick as she moves well laterally and covers a lot of ground. At the plate, she continue to shine through a squared setup. Hands are quick (66 mph exit velocity) and work to and through a level swing path. She shows a feel for the barrel through a line drive approach with power showing best to the pull side. Power will increase as he utilizes her lower half more efficiently. On the mound, she shows a repeatable delivery, allowing her arm action to work loose to the plate. Fastball showed a range of 55-56 mph with tight spin. Changeup sits 44-46 with sinking action. Curveball sits 53-55 mph with late action. Screwball sits 54-56 mph with later action. Control is solid as she throws strikes with all her pitches. With 4 years to further develop, Kailey has a lot of potential with time and room to progress her game.
