11/07/2013 - Softball Factory Hall of Fame Select Training Karlee is a talented, well-balanced 3B. Defensively, she fields with quick exchanges, makes accurately consistent throws and has sound DP feeds. Working on a controlled approach and athletic field positioning will help her to increase range and efficiency. Overall, Karlee is talented and has a confident approach to playing defense. At the plate, she uses an athletically balanced set up with a smooth load, a short stride and keeps her balanced centered before launching to the ball with good bat extension. She shows good power and will benefit from an explosive lower half to improve power on contact, ultimately allowing her to access the entire field effectively. Overall, Karlee has a positive attitude, a desire to get better and solid athletic ability to help aid in her continued development as a player.
