11/05/2017 - College PREP - Hillsboro, OR Kassidee is a 2020 two-way player as a C/OF with an athletic skill set. In the box, Kassidee is a RHH that uses a square stance with a back load and square stride. She is able to make consistent contact, extends through the ball and is a spray hitter. Working to keep her hips and hands inside the ball will allow her to see more power production. Behind the plate, Kassidee has a strong stance and quick feet. She reads the ball in the dirt and is able to get around the ball quickly. She absorbs blocks and deadens the ball to keep it in front. She sticks the ball in the zone, makes a quick exchange and makes accurate throws. Working to get more momentum behind her throws with her body will allow her to see a drop in her pop time. In the OF, Kassidee has an aggressive approach. She shows good range to her backhand. She fields with soft hands, plays through the ball and makes accurate throws. Working to gain more ground with the crow hop will allow her to get more momentum behind the ball. Overall, Kassidee is a versatile player with the tools needed to play at the collegiate level.
