12/28/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Swarthmore (Philadelphia), PA Kate is a 2025 two-way player as an OF/2B. In the box, Kate is a RHH that uses a square stance with a short stride. She loads her hands and works to put the ball play. Creating a consistent stride and load will allow her to create rhythm in her swing and see an increase in her line drive production. In the OF, Kate is a quick player. She reads the ball well and takes good routes. She presents her glove on time, makes a quick exchange and makes accurate throws. Adding a long toss program to her workouts will allow her to see an increase in her arm strength. At 2B, Kate handles the routine play well. She moves well to her backhand and makes accurate throws. Presenting her glove sooner and working to stay low through the ball will allow her to make quicker transitions. Overall, Kate is a young player that will continue to improve with the proper coaching.
