Her barrel is on plane with the ball and fast through the zone. She makes hard contact each pitch and with more extension through the ball, her overall power production will increase. In the circle, Katelyn has a calm presence and strong mechanics. Her movements are smooth and her finish controlled. She extends through on her release, has an open hip direction, and a tall finish. She utilizes four different pitches and is able to keep batters on their toes by mixing speeds. Overall, Katelyn is an athlete who works hard and has a true passion for the game.
