02/05/2017 - College PREP - Sacramento, CA Katherine is a 2019 RHP with a strong skill set. She is a lean athletic player who will continue to get stronger as she grows. On the mound she has a very good presence and has great control on all of her pitches. Her curveball has sharp movement on it with her excellent finish on the pitch. She demonstrates good mechanics and wrist action on all her pitches. Continuing to work on not slowing her arm on her drop pitch will keep batters off balanced against her. At the plate she makes consistent hard contact and has the ability to drive the ball to the opposite field. She extends well and has a good level swing with good bat speed. Adding more lower half will see an increase in her power production. Overall Katherine is a player who has a bright future on the mound with ace qualities and with the right coaching can become dominant.
