Hands are quick (57 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. She makes consistent contact with power showing best to the pull side. Power will continue to increase as she utilizes her lower half more efficiently. At 1B, she displays proper footwork around the bag and is a quality receiver. Glove action is clean but needs to present more out front. Feet are aggressive and attacks balls, playing through with her body. In the OF, she takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. She moves well laterally and covers ground. Throws are accurate with accuracy and carry but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. With 3 years to further develop, Katie has a lot of potential with time and room to progress her game.
