In the box, Katie is a RHH that uses a square stance with a short stride and centered balance. She has an aggressive approach and shows line drive power. Working on her contact points and timing will allow her to see more consistency. At 1B, Katie handles the routine play well. She works to get in line with her target and makes accurate throws. Presenting her glove sooner will allow her to field the ball in front and makes a quicker transfer. Overall, Katie is a coachable player that will continue to develop her skill set.
