05/05/2019 - College PREP - Tacoma (Seattle), WA Katie is a 2020 right handed third baseman with a strong skill set. Defensively, she has active footwork and range to both sides. She stays low and strong in her legs and creates good momentum through each play. She makes accurate throws across the diamond and is quick in her exchange with the ball. Offensively, she has an athletic set up in the box and a short stride to the ball. She loads back well in her lower half and has smooth hands through the zone. She stays center in her balance and explosive with her hands. Overall, Katie is very coachable and will make a great asset to a collegiate level team in her future if she continues to work hard.
