12/28/2018 - College PREP - Swarthmore (Philadelphia), PA Kayla is a 2020 SS with a developing skill set. In the box, Kayla is a RHH that uses a square stance with a soft stride and centered balance. She loads her hands, makes square contact and is a line drive hitter. Working to create rhythm and extending through contact will allow her to see more gap production. At SS, Kayla is an agile player with fluid footwork. She presents her glove on time, fields with sure hands and makes a clean exchange. She has good footwork around the ball and shows carry on her throws. Adding a throwing progression to her workouts will allow her to see more accuracy on her throws. Overall, Kayla is an athletic player that will see continued success on the field.
