09/23/2018 - College PREP - San Marcos (San Antonio), TX Kaylee Reed is a 2020 catcher with a clean and quick exchange. She is very consistent with her throws and receives the ball with a firm glove. Kaylee has good footwork when fielding the bunt and gets her thumb under each pitch. She also displays a quick release. Offensively, Kaylee keeps the barrel behind the ball and gets good extension. Kaylee is strong and makes hard, consistent contact with explosive bat speed. Overall, she is a solid athlete with a well balanced skill set.
