Behind the plate, she is active in her feet and stays athletic in her caching position. She receives the ball well in the zone and gets around the ball well on her blocks. She has a strong release on her throws to bases and displays accuracy in her release. At shortstop, she has great lateral movement and stays low through each play. She is short in her action and creates good momentum through the ball. Offensively, Kaylee is athletic in the box and short in her stride. She loads back well in her legs and stays smooth through the zone with her barrel. Her hips and hands work well together through her swing and she shows good pop in the gaps. Overall, Kaylee is very coachable and will do what it takes to play at the next level.
