10/14/2012 - College PREP - Oklahoma City, OK Kaylin is an athletic 3B. Defensively, she is sure handed with fluid footwork and displays solid range. She possesses a throwing arm with carry and will benefit from keeping her hips and shoulders in line with her target as well as keeping her feet active pre pitch. At the plate, Kaylin uses an open set up with no load, a short stride and keeps her balance centered before aggressively launching her hands to the ball. She has good strike zone discipline, tracks the ball well, but needs to improve her balance throughout her swing, maintain stability in her lower half and allow the ball to travel deeper into the zone to improve point of contact. Overall, Kaylin did a nice job and should continue to play the game hard and seek the best instruction as well as quality reps to gain experience and to ensure her development.
