04/28/2013 - College PREP - Atlanta, GA Kelly is an extremely talented RHP from the 2015 class. In the circle, she features a quick arm circle with backward hand position in an athletic stance with smooth rhythm and tempo throughout her delivery. She keeps her shoulders square, has in line direction through a complete finish and uses her legs very well to drive off the rubber. She is a strike thrower with advanced action on all 4 pitches which she uses to keep hitters off balance. At the plate, Kelly uses a square set up with no load, a short stride and is a little heavy on her front foot. An aggressive hitter, her swing recovers to produce solid contact and she will benefit from staying inside the ball and staying back to see the ball deeper in the zone. She generates explosive bat speed which will translate to added power production if she gets her hands and lower body on the same page. Overall, Kelly is a very exciting young prospect and should be prepared to entertain a lot of collegiate attention if she isn't already doing so.
