Defensively, she has range in the outfield and moves back well on the ball. She takes good angles and is quick in her footwork. She gets behind the ball well to come through her throws with solid momentum to her target. At shortstop, she has a controlled approach and fields the ball out in front. She is fluid in her action to the ball and makes accurate throws to her target. Offensively, Kelly has a square set up in the box and a short stride to the ball. She is smooth in her hands and keeps her barrel level through the zone. She shows good pop up the middle and works hard every time she steps on the field.
