11/01/2020 - All-In Membership - Salem (Roanoke), VA Kelsey is an athletic RHP/2B who has a promising future on the field. At 2B, she displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are aggressive as she works around balls and plays through with her body. Glove action is clean and presents well out front. Feet are quick as she moves well laterally and covers a lot of ground. Throws are accurate but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, she continue to shine, displaying well above average hitting abilities with outstanding power potential through a squared setup. Hands are quick (69 mph exit velocity) and work to and through a level swing path. She shows a feel for the barrel through a line drive approach with gap-to-gap pop. On the mound, she shows a repeatable delivery, allowing her arm action to work loose to the plate. Fastball showed a range of 47-48 mph with tight spin. Changeup sits 30-35 with sinking action. Curveball sits 46-47 mph with late action. Screwball sits 45-46 mph with later action. With 5 years to further develop, Kelsey has a lot of potential with time and room to progress her game.
