She has soft, sure hands and will benefit from improving her footwork to throw, eliminating her glove flip and improving her arm strength. She is good to her back hands side and should continue to work from the ground up with early glove presentation to further develop. At the plate, Kelsey uses a closed stance with a slight downward load, no stride and keeps her weight back before launching her aggressive swing through the zone. She has athletic actions in the box, can use the whole field and will benefit from using her lower half more effectively with a back side pivot. Overall, Kelsey works hard and brings a coachable approach to the yard every day to get better.
