10/20/2013 - College PREP - Raleigh, NC Kendall is an athletic young C with a steady skill set on both sides of the ball. Defensively, she is a soft, sure handed receiver with strong wrists and the ability to catch the ball clean. She will benefit from widening her stance, keeping her hips low when blocking and getting her target to a good low position as early as possible. At the plate, Kendall uses a simple set up with a back load, no stride and generates quick bat speed with an aggressive launch to contact. She is easy through the zone and will further improve offensive grades as she incorporates her lower half better and sees ball deeper into the zone, improving her point of contact and effectiveness to the opposite field. Overall, Kendall has excellent athletic ability and will find she can make improvements to her game quickly if she continues to work hard and is detailed in her preparation. She has the potential to develop into a college player if she consistently gets better both offensively and behind the plate.
