12/27/2013 - Softball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament Kezia is a tall, athletic junior third baseman with a developing skill set. Defensively, Kezia has soft, sure hands with active footwork. She has an athletic and low fielding position, which leads to her agile range. By working on her angle to the ball in the hole, Kezia will improve her range even more and throw out more runners. Offensively, Kezia uses a square setup with a smooth load to create an explosive movement to the ball. Kezia is on time with the ball and is a consistent line drive hitter. By working on her extension through the ball, Kezia will increase her power to all sides of the field. Overall, Kezia is a very vocal and positive leader and will continue to develop as a player.
07/10/2013 - College PREP - Providence, RI Kezia is a developing athlete. As a 3B, she has a strong arm with carry on her throw, good pre-pitch position, fluid footwork, agile range and stays low and through the ball when fielding. Focusing on polished backhand glovework will increase fielding success and efficiency. As a hitter, she has natural strength, drives the ball well, and decent timing. Focusing on a stride and load, driving the hands through the zone, keeping the front side closed, strong wrists, and utilizing the lower half will increase power and efficiency. With implementation of the above recommendations, Kezia will continue to be on track for collegiate attention.
