05/30/2019 - Softball Factory College World Series - Prospects Select Training Kimberly returns to another Softball Factory event displaying her great attitude and ability to be ready every play. Defensively, she moves well through each play with solid momentum and reads the ball well off of the bat in the outfield. She has a strong base and makes accurate throws to her target. At first base, she keeps the ball in front of her and recovers well when she bobbles the ball. She needs to work on staying low through each play when moving laterally so that she can create more range in her defense abilities. Offensively, she has a soft stride in the box and is controlled in her rhythm. She lets the ball travel through the zone but can get her hands too far outside of the ball at times. If she can work on keeping her hands inside the ball more, she will start to drive the ball the other way. Overall, Kimberly has great work ethic and if she continues to work hard, she will do what it takes to play at the next level.
12/27/2018 - College PREP - Rindge, NH Kimberly Daigneault is a 2021 two way player with a developing skill set. As a first baseman, she has active footwork and agile range especially to her glove side. She sets up square on the ground ball and uses a clean exchange to throw. In the outfield, she has effective footwork and tracks the fly ball well. She gets underneath and plays through well. At the plate, Kimberly starts in a tall stance. She gets her legs engaged and stays on plane with the pitch well. With even more weight transfer she will increase her power.
