10/12/2018 - College PREP - Plano, TX Kirsten is a 2022 right handed catcher with a developing skill set. Defensively, she has active feet behind the plate and gets around the ball well on her blocks. She has as ware fielding position and firm hands when receiving the ball. She is short in her action on bunt coverage and makes accurate throws to her target. She shifts over well laterally and frames each pitch well. She shows strength behind her throws and keeps her throws on line to her target. Offensively, she has an athletic set up in the box and an on time stride to the ball. She loads back well in her lower half to drive through the ball with solid contact. She stays center in her balance and explosive through the zone. Overall, Kirsten has great work ethic and is very coachable. If she continues to work hard, she will do what it takes to play at the next level.
