10/04/2020 - All-In Membership - Spokane, WA Kolbi is an athletic SS who has a promising future on the diamond. At SS, she displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are aggressive as she works around balls and plays through with her body. Glove action is soft / sure and presents well out front. Range is plus as she moves well laterally and covers ground. Throws are accurate with carry across the diamond as she gets rid of the softball quickly. At the plate, she shows a squared setup. Hands are quick (67 mph exit velocity) and work to and through a level swing path. She stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. With 2 years to further develop, Kolbi has potential with time and room to progress her game.
01/12/2018 - 2018 Softball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Kolbi is a 2022 shortstop with a developing skill set. Defensively, Kolbi has effective footwork and takes good angles to the ball. She will dive when needed to make the play and makes accurate, on-line throws to her target. Offensively, Kolbi has an athletic stance and has an aggressive mindset during her at bats. She is able to hit to all parts of the field and displays a smooth swing. Kolbi has a strong upper half and takes a direct path to contact. She also has a good eye for the strike zone and had some key hits during game play. Overall, Kolbi is a young athlete that works hard and has potential to play at the next level.
