01/11/2014 - College PREP - San Antonio, TX Kristen is a sophomore outfielder /shortstop with a developing skill set. In the outfield, Kristen has a controlled approach and gets a good jump on the ball. She has an accurate arm when throwing to the bases, and by strengthening her arm she will be more of a threat in the outfield. At shortstop, Kristen is confident and under control. She has sure hands and a consistent arm. By working on charging the ball, Kristen will be able to throw out more players. Offensively, Kristen has a slightly closed stance with a level to upward swing path. She is good at letting the ball travel to its correct contact points and hitting to all fields. By adding the use of her lower half to her swing, Kristen will become a more powerful hitter. Overall, Kristen is a very coachable athlete that will continue to develop as a player.
