12/27/2014 - Softball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament Kristin is a 2019 shortstop with a well-balanced skill set. Defensively, Kristin has an athletic ready position. She fields the ball with soft hands out in front of her body. She has a good transfer and makes accurate throws across the diamond. Kristin has a fluid throwing motion with her arm slot fitting her position. By working to become a more aggressive and vocal player, Kristin will command better command her position. Offensively, Kristin uses a slightly closed setup and stride to make a positive move to the ball. She takes a direct path to contact and makes drives with a level bat angle. Kristin has plus power on the inside pitch. She works the gaps and runs the bases aggressively. Kristin has good bat speed, stays through the ball, and gets to extension. Overall, Kristin is a hard worker that will continue to grow and develop as a player.
