03/09/2014 - College PREP - Baltimore, MD Krystle is a junior shortstop with a well-balanced skill set. Defensively, Krystle has an athletic pre-pitch setup. She receives the ball with soft and sure hands and plays through the ball. Krystle has fluid footwork and agile range with a solid backhand. She has a consistently accurate arm when throwing across the diamond. By working on getting rid of the ball quicker, Krystle will add to her overall abilities on defense. Offensively, Krystle uses an open stance before making her move to the ball. She does a good job with pitch selection and knows her zone. By adding a load to her swing and working to hit the ball up the middle, Krystle will become a more powerful and consistent hitter. Overall, Krystle is a strong kid that will continue to develop as a player
