01/08/2021 - 2021 Softball Factory Pre-Season Prospects Tournament Lacinda is an athletic C who will graduate in 2024. Behind the dish, she presents a firm mitt, sticking pitches. She uses her body well through the blocking process but needs to work to get down sooner and improve her lateral movements. Pop times showed in the range of 2.39 with accuracy to her target. Times will continue to drop as she builds more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, she shows a crouched setup. Hands are quick (61 mph exit velocity) and work to and through a level swing path. She makes consistent contact through a line drive approach with power showing best to the pull side. Power will continue to increase as she utilizes her lower half more efficiently. Mental makeup is a plus as she is very coachable and works hard to be the best player she can be. With 4 years to further develop, Lacinda has potential with time and room to progress her game.
