11/05/2017 - College PREP - Hillsboro, OR Laura is a 2019 2B with a developing skill set. In the box, Laura is a RHH that uses a tall stance with an on-time stride and back load. She has a lead-off approach and is able to work opposite field. Creating more hip action and finishing her swing will allow her to see more power production. At 2B, Laura shows active footwork and handles the routine play. She fields out in front with firm hands. She reads the ball off the bat and shows good range to her glove side. Working on her pocket awareness when fielding with her back hand will allow to field more fluidly. Overall, Laura is a hard-working player and with continued coaching she will have the opportunity to take her game to the next level.
