01/12/2018 - 2018 Softball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Lauren is a strong athlete with vocal leadership for her team. Defensively, Lauren has quick, fluid footwork and agile range. She has a good pre pitch and presents her glove well out in front. Lauren takes good angles and plays through the ball. She reads the ball well off the bat and has a clean exchange to throw. Lauren has fluid arm action, works well with her momentum, and makes accurate throws to her target. Offensively, Lauren has an athletic stance with an on-time stride to contact. She loads and stays balanced throughout her swing. Lauren has a fluid swing and stays connected with her hips/hands. She has fast bat speed and takes a direct swing to contact. Lauren makes hard contact with gap-to-gap power. Overall, Lauren is a great leader on the field and will continue to build on all of her skill sets.
