01/17/2020 - 2020 Softball Factory All-America Pre-Season Tournament Lauren returns to Softball Factory as a two-time Pre-Season All American. Lauren is a natural leader that has a good attitude and hustles every play. In the box, Lauren is able to make game time adjustments when advised by her coaches. She consistently puts the ball in play and shows lines drive power. At 1B, Lauren has a good presence and handles the routine play well. She is heads up player and backs up her teammates. Overall, Lauren has the work ethic needed to take her game to the next level.
01/18/2019 - 2019 Softball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Lauren is a 2023 right handed first baseman with a developing skill set. Defensively, she has a strong base at first and is always ready for the next play. She needs to work on playing more on the balls of her feet rather than on her heels so that she can create more range laterally. She makes accurate throws to her target and fields the ball out front. Offensively, she has a tall set up in the box and a short stride to the ball. She has power potential but needs to drive through her lower half more to create more pop in her contact. Overall, Lauren adjusts well and works hard.
