12/27/2020 - Official Player Development Membership - Windsor (Madison), WI Lauren is an athletic RHP/SS who has a promising future on the field. At SS, defensive abilities are solid as she displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are aggressive as she works around balls and plays through with her body. Glove action is clean and presents out front. Feet are quick as she moves well laterally and covers a lot of ground. Throws are accurate with on line carry (61 mph velocity) across the diamond but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, she continue to shine through an open setup. Hands are quick (58 mph exit velocity) and work to and through a level swing path. She shows a feel for the barrel stays inside the ball through a line drive approach. Power will increase as she utilizes her lower half more efficiently. On the mound, she shows a repeatable delivery, allowing her arm action to work loose to the plate. Fastball showed a range of 51-53 mph. Changeup sits 30-32 with slight sink. Rise ball sits 52-53 mph. Curve ball sits 48-50 mph. With 5 years to further develop, Lauren has a lot of potential and will get looks from the college coaches as she continues to progress her game.
