11/12/2017 - College PREP - Middletown (Hartford), CT Lauren is a 2022 RHP with a balanced skill set. On the mound, Lauren has a clam presence, good balance and fluid arm action. She shows good mechanics and is able to control her pitches in the zone. Working to keep her change up lower in the zone will allow her to keep hitters off balance. In the box, Lauren uses a square stance with an on-time stride and smooth load. She makes square, consistent contact and works the middle of the field. Working to take a direct route to the ball will allow her to stay inside and generate more power production. Overall, Lauren is a hard-working player and with continued coaching she will be able to take her game to the next level.
