01/08/2021 - 2021 Softball Factory Pre-Season Prospects Tournament Laurren is an athletic OF who will graduate in 2022. In the OF, she displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are aggressive as she takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. She needs to work to get behind balls and plays through with momentum to her target. Glove action is clean and presents well out front. Range will increase as she improves foot quickness. Throws are accurate but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, she shows a squared setup. Hands are quick (59 mph exit velocity) and work to and through a level swing path. She stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will increase as she utilizes her lower half more efficiently. Mental makeup is a plus as she is very coachable and works hard to be the best player she can be. Laurren has potential with time and room to progress her game.
