06/11/2018 - College PREP - Hoover, AL Lawren is a 2021 two-way player an OF/SS with a strong skill set. In the box, Lawren is a LHH that also slaps. She has a square stance, creates fluid rhythm and centered balance. She makes square contact and is a line drive hitter. When slapping Lawren is direct with her hands and does a nice job of being level through the zone. Working to engage her lower half more will allow her to see a continued increase in her power production. In the OF, Lawren is a strong leaser. She reads the ball off the bat and does a nice job of getting behind the fly ball. She does a nice job of presenting her glove and plays through the ground ball. She has a very strong arm and makes accurate throws with carry. At SS, Lawren is an athletic player with good range. She reads the ball well and has quick, fluid footwork. She presents her glove on time, makes a clean exchange and makes accurate throws with carry. Working to be on time in her approach will allow her to play through the ball and gain ground to her target. Overall, Lawren is an exciting player to watch and will be a great addition to a collegiate line up
