12/27/2017 - Softball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament - Session 2 Leah is a 2020 shortstop, catcher with a developing skill set. Defensively, Leah has a quick exchange and quick arm action. She works well with her momentum to her release and displays good feeds on the double play. Leah also makes accurate, online throws to her target and has carry on her throws. Behind the plate, Leah has effective footwork and stays low in her setup. She presents her glove well and receives with firm glove work. Leah gets her glove down quick on blocks and has short arm action. Offensively, Leah takes a soft stride to contact and loads well in her lower half. She has a fluid swing and stays balanced throughout her swing. Leah makes adjustments well when needed and is mechanically sound. She is strong and can hit to all parts of the field. Overall, Leah will continue to work hard on what she learned at camp to take all parts of her game to a new level.
