12/09/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Nyack (NYC), NY Lia is a 2023 RHP with an athletic skill set. On the mound, Lia has a calm presence with good balance and smooth mechanics. She generates good momentum off the mound, extends through her release and creates good resistance in her finish. She uses a 4 pitch package and is able to keep hitters off balance. She shows good control and is comfortable working deep in the count. Working to open her hips more and creating more spin will allow her to see more movement on the ball. In the box, Lia is a RHH that uses a square stance with a short stride and centered balance. She makes consistent square contact and is a line drive hitter. Working to load her hands and creating rhythm in her swing will allow her generate more bat speed and see more power production. Overall, Lia is a hard-working player and with continued coaching she will be able to take her game to the next level.
