07/26/2021 - All-In Membership - Greensburg (Pittsburgh), PA Lily is a 2024 1B/C who attended the Softball Factory Event in Pittsburgh, PA. At first base, Lily does a good job of keeping her hands out in front, she picks the ball well, and makes accurate throws. If she can work on tracking the ball deeper into her glove she will be more successful. Also, if she can work on being in a lower defensive position when fielding she will be stronger at first base. Behind the plate, Lily tracks the ball into her glove well and stays low on blocks. She also does a good job of tucking her chin on blocks. Some things for her to work on are being quicker side to side, and making sure she doesn't stand up to throw the ball to second and is moving through more. Hitting wise, she has a good setup and good barrel control. She is a spray type of hitter and hits to all fields. If she can work on being more balanced and staying back she will be stronger at the plate. Also, making sure she drives her lower half will help her be even more powerful. Overall, Lily is a talented athlete and someone our coaching staff would love to work with in the future!
