03/25/2018 - College PREP - Middletown, CT Lily returns to Softball Factory for her 4th event. Since her last outing Lily has made improvements to her home to first and 20-yard dash. In the OF, Lily is a natural leader with an athletic skill set. She makes quick reads off the bat and attacks the ball. She takes the proper angles and does a nice job of playing through the ball. She makes a quick, clean exchange, uses the proper arm slot and makes accurate throws with carry. At 1B, Lily is a vocal player. She has smooth footwork and moves to the bag well. She has a good glove and is able to pick balls in the dirt. In the box, Lily is RHH that uses a square stance with good rhythm. She creates a good weight transfer and makes consistent contact. She creates good backspin on the ball and is a gap-to-gap hitter. Overall, Lily is a dedicated player that will make an impact at the collegiate level.
02/24/2018 - Mid Atlantic Regional Softball Accelerated Hitting Weekend (Ages 13-18) Lily is always smiling and brings so much positive energy to her team. Lily has an athletic stance and takes a short stride to contact. She stays balanced throughout her swing and works well up the middle of the field. Lily is a strong athlete and has great pop off the bat when she is in the correct contact position. She displays a good load and rhythm in her hands. She is very coachable and learned a lot about her swing in just a short time. Lily loves the game and carries a mindset that every coach wants their players to have. She is a special athlete with great potential. Lily will always work hard to be her best.
12/20/2017 - Softball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament - Session 1 Lily is a 2022 two-way player as a OF/1B. In the box, Lily is a RHH that uses a square stance with a soft stride and centered balance. She creates fluid rhythm with a back load. She makes consistent contact and is a line drive hitter. She shows good pitch recognition and is able to make game time adjustments. Working to be quick to the ball and extending through contact will allow her to see more gap production. In the OF, Lily is a vocal leader. She reads the ball well and handles the routine play. She makes accurate throws and does a nice job of keeping the ball low. Making quicker decisions will allow her to be on time to the ball. At 1B, Lily has a good presence. She presents her glove on time, fields with soft hands and makes a quick exchange. She uses the proper arm slot and makes accurate throws with carry. Working to play through the ball more will allow her to gain ground to her target. Overall, Lily is an athletic player with the tools needed to play at the collegiate level.
