12/27/2019 - National Tryout Plus - Rindge, NH Lily is a SS prospect who continues to showcase her skills on the field. At SS, Lily shows active footwork and fields in a square position. She makes a clean exchange and keeps her throws on-line to her target. Taking a better prep step can help Lily improve defensively. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a crouched stance and takes a short stride. She gets back into her load and hits against a strong front side. She generates fast bat speed through the zone and produces loud contact to her pull side. Lily can improve as a hitter by working a more controlled rhythm into her swing. Overall, Lily is a solid prospect who has the potential to further develop her skills on the field.
05/30/2019 - Softball Factory College World Series - Prospects Select Training Lily is a 2022 right handed shortstop with a developing skill set. Defensively, she has active feet and keeps the ball in front. She makes accurate throws to her target but needs to work on staying low through the ball and fielding from the balls of her feet. She tends to sit back on her heels and come up in her body when moving laterally. If she works on those two things she will create more range in her defense abilities and become quicker to the ball. Offensively, she has a square stride to the ball and stays on time in her rhythm in the box. She has fast hands to the ball and makes hard contact to her pull side. Overall, if Lily continues to work hard, she will do what it takes to play at the next level.
