02/24/2013 - College PREP - Las Vegas, NV Lindsey is a talented young SS from the 2015 class. Defensively, she has soft hands, active feet and is aggressive to the ball under control. She will benefit from fielding further out front, playing lower at the hips and raising her arm slot to improve flight and carry. She displays smooth rhythm and has a consistent pre-pitch routine which allows her to get a good 1st step off the bat. At the plate, Lindsey uses a square set up with a back load and no stride before launching to the ball. Long at times, her swing recovers to produce hard contact because of her strong hands and solid barrel control. She should focus on staying back while striding to a light front foot, eliminating the arm bar in load and shortening swing to get hands to the inside of the ball. Overall, Lindsey is a solid young player with a steadily developing skill set and a good understanding of the game.
