05/11/2013 - College PREP - New Orleans, LA Lindsey is a solid strike thrower with an advanced feel for commanding all of her pitches. She features a full arm swing with backward hand position in an athletic stance with level shoulders and in line direction. She finishes her pitches very well, is not afraid of pitching to contact and gets the intended action from all of her pitches which allow her to pitch to every part of the plate. Lindsey has a strong mound presence and should continue to work on improving arm speed and establishing smooth, repeatable rhythm and tempo throughout her delivery to increase her effectiveness. At the plate, Lindsey uses an open stance with a short stride and steady balance before launching her short swing to the ball. She makes consistent contact, has a line drive path and will benefit from keeping her front side on the pitcher longer, seeing the ball deeper into the zone and maintaining body control through her launch phase to improve tracking. Overall, Lindsey is a steady option on the mound and still has room to improve, with continued hard work, quality instruction and attention to details in her preparation she has a skill set worth following to see just how good she can be.
