01/08/2021 - 2021 Softball Factory Pre-Season Prospects Tournament Lizzie is a lean RHP/OF who will graduate in 2023. On the mound, she shows a repeatable delivery, allowing her arm action to work loose to the plate. Fastball showed a range of 46-48 mph with tight spin. Rise ball sits 44-45 Screw ball sits 50-52 mph. Screwball sits 42-42 with tight spin. In the OF, she displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are aggressive as she takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. She needs to work to get behind balls and plays through with momentum to her target. Glove action is clean and presents well out front. Range will increase as she improves foot quickness. Throws are accurate but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, she shows an open setup. Hands are quick and work to and through a level swing path. She stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will increase as she utilizes her lower half more efficiently. Mental makeup is a plus as she is very coachable and works hard to be the best player she can be. With 2 years to further develop, Lizzie has potential with time and room to progress her game.
