07/10/2014 - Advanced Training and Competition at the World Cup Lizzie is an evolving 2B with a balanced skill set. Defensively, she communicates well on the field and makes routine plays. Working on staying down and through the ball as well as glovework and transfers to improve fielding efficiency. Overall, Lizzie is eager to learn and has a confident approach to playing defense. At the plate, she has a good stride and load and keeps her balance stable before producing line drive contact. She shows good power and will benefit from an explosive lower half to improve power on contact, ultimately allowing her to access the entire field more effectively. Overall, Lizzie has a good frame for the position and solid athletic ability to help aid in her continued development as a player.
