09/18/2022 - Official Player Development Membership - Brockton (Boston), MA Mackenzie continues to improve in her softball abilities. Defensively at second base, she gets it in and out of the glove quickly with accuracy on her throws. In the circle, she possesses a confidence in her abilities. Her motion is consistent generating solid command with all of her pitches. At the plate, she utilizes her lower half well and has quick hands to, and through, the ball with exit velocity hitting as high as 65mph. Given she's only a 2026 graduate, Mackenzie has a bright future on the diamond.
02/27/2022 - Official College Recruiting Membership - North Branford, CT Mackenzie is a 2026 graduate who looks the part in the circle displaying calmness and confidence. She shows fluidity in her arm action and solid extension through release. Fastball currently sits at 49mph while her change-up was 34-36mph. At the plate, she hit a ball at 61mph which comes in above-average for an 8th grader. She is able to generate power through a compact swing and quick hands through the zone. Defensively, she moves well side to side but needs to incorporate pre-pitch movement to increase her range.
