As a 2B, she has a quick, accurate arm with carry on her throw, intrinsic motivation to get better, confident glovework, quick footwork, and agile range. Focusing on playing down and through the backhand will increase fielding success and efficiency. As a hitter, she has natural strength that is exemplified by her lower half, and a square, balanced set up with short bat path that produces hard, consistent contact. Focusing on a consistent stride and load and timing will increase power and efficiency. With continued application of skill set and implementation of recommendations, Mackenzie will continue to seek collegiate attention.
